I’ve been writing in dairies and journaling ever since I created my first Scrapbook at about 8 years old. During Covid lockdown I’ve continued to journal and believe me it’s been helpful for my spirit and fun. It fills a segment of time with great pleasure. Why not give it a try? It’s wonderful to look back on a journal after a year or so.
A journal can be in any form you like, with any material, on any type of paper or book, or on the computer (which I have just started to do) for a change of pace. Lately, my journals are a bit childish, so what, it’s fun. I draw little doodles and write text in random places all over the page. I enter stuff I’ve done during the day or make lists of things I want to do, and sometimes I’ll throw in a word or two to get something off my chest. Whatever comes into my mind I jot it down, often it’s cathartic, that’s a good thing. Get it out of your body.
I probably shouldn’t post this but, you can see the fun in journaling with this example. After all what bad thing could happen from sharing this? I mentioned I use the computer for my journaling.
