Aiken SC to Baltimore, MD April 13, 2022

1st Landing State Park, VA Beach

On my way to Baltimore, I stopped for a couple of days in Virginia Beach. The State Park I visited was lovely and I had a delightful picnic there. Clothes dryer for a camper.

Delta Hotel Marriott, Virginia Beach Sunset

I had 2 days in Virginia Beach to drive around like the tourist I am, then I crossed the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel to get to the Eastern Shore of Virginia.
Cape Charles, Virginia I stopped in Cape Charles to see what changes had been made since I was last there 6 or more years ago. Not the same little village it once was, but a grown property with mega-million waterfront homes and a beautiful boutique resort.
Sandy Point State Park, Maryland
The next stop was on the Western side of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge at the Sandy Point State Park. I have never taken the time to check it out. The weather was sunny and in the high 50s, but when I got out of the car and walked to the beach the wind was gusting at 30 to 40 miles an hour. No beach time for me.
